The ICMG Executive Board members met on 25 January 2010 in the ICMG Headquarters in Athens. During the meeting, the ICMG Secretary General, Mr. Isidoros Kouvelos, reported on all the important actions of progress and modernization of the ICMG, such as the digitization of its archives, the updating of its official web site, the reinforcement of its communication with the Mediterranean Olympic Committees and the continuous cooperation with the General Secretariat of Sport in Greece. The 2013 Mediterranean Games were the main topic in the agenda of the meeting, to which moreover participated Mr. Spyros Kapralos, PResident of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, and Mr. Alekos Voulgaris, Mayor of Volos, thus stressing the mutual commitment of the ICMG, the Greek state and the local authorities to the success of the Games. In this spirit of collaboration, a meeting was held following the Executive Board meeting, at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, with the competent Minister Mrs. Angela Gerekou and the Secretary General of Sport, Mr. Panagiotis Bitsaxis, focused on the vital issues of the Games.
