Opening of the new ICMG offices in Athens PDF Print E-mail
Isidoros KOUVELOSAt the presence of the General Secretary of Sports Mr. Stavros DOUVIS and the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee Mr. Spyros CAPRALOS, the opening of the new ICMG offices in Athens, permanent seat of this International Institution, took place on September 25 at 09.00hrs, at the premises of the Aquatic Centre of the Athens Olympic Complex.
The full cost for the construction of the new ICMG offices was undertaken by the Ministry of Sports, as per the Agreement signed on 2006 between this International Institution and the Greek State.
The opening ceremony, organized by Mr. Isidoros KOUVELOS, ICMG Secretary General and President of the International Olympic Academy, was held in a close circle of guests. Apart from the ICMG Executive Board members, present were also the Secretary General of the H.O.C. Mr. Emmanouil KATSIADAKIS, the President and the Managing Director of VOLOS 2013 Organizing Committee, Mr. Kriton NEOFYTOS and Mrs. Fani KOUTROUBA respectively, the President of the Athens Olympic Complex Board of Directors, Mrs. Aleka MANOU, and the General Director of the Athens Olympic Complex, Mr. Kyriakos GIANNOPOULOS.
