The ICMG Executive Committee meeting will take place as scheduled on 14 September in Volos.

Among the topics that will be treated by the Executive Committee is, first of all, the progress of the preparations for the 2013 Mediterranean Games, in the light of the observations of the Coordination Commission following its visit in Volos at the beginning of August, and also the assessment of the 2009 Pescara Mediterranean Games, the candidatures for the 2017 Mediterranean Games as well as the double celebration of the 50 years of ICMG and 60 years of Mediterranean Games.

Within the framework of this visit, the ICMG Technical, Development and Cooperation, and Statutes and Regulations Commissions will also hold meetings, for the first time since their designation, and will meet the heads of the respective departments of the OCMG VOLOS – LARISSA 2013 in order to discuss on issues of organization, planning and operation of the Organizing Committee and the Games, and submit afterwards their reports to the Executive Committee.

Finally, on September 15 a joint meeting between the ICMG and the OCMG will take place, followed by a Press Conference.
