Following his appointment by the I.O.C. President, Dr J. Rogge, as member of the Administrative Board of the International Olympic Truce Foundation last May, the I.O.A. President, Mr. Isidoros KOUVELOS received one more important and prestigious distinction today in Kiev of Ukraine. Mr. KOUVELOS was awarded with Doctor Honoris Causa of the National University of Ukraine on Physical Education and Sports for his contribution to the International sports and his initiatives to upgrade the role of the International Olympic Academy.
