ICMG Secretary General, Isidoros Kouvelos, who is also President of both the IOA and the Hellenic Olympic Academy, had the pleasure to welcome on the 6th of April over 40.000 students and their teachers at the Panathinaic Stadium, in Athens, to attend a wonderful event celebrating the First Modern Olympic Games 1896 anniversary! The event was organized by the HOA and the kids had the opportunity to travel through an Art show, based on theatrical performance, dance and songs, to the magical moments of the historical 1896 Athens Olympics. The kids also paid tribute to the Olympic Truce Principle by demonstrating various inscriptions with relevant messages painted by them, after a program the Hellenic Olympic Academy had launched one month ago. It was a wonderful day!
